Gay Party Tix (GPT) is site that I created to allow gay men to find parties and events without constantly google searching and getting mixed results as well as provide a platform for gay businesses to promote their events and/or business. There’s a common misconception about gay parties is that if you build it, they will come, in some cases, that’s true; however, in most cases you have to PROMOTE, PROMOTE, PROMOTE.

Hence, why I am writing this blog post instead of updating parties at the moment. Most gay bars do well with providing good quality services to their clientele; however, acquiring new customers and providing new and exciting themes on weeknights can make a huge difference in the lifespan of gay bar. The Covid pandemic era has shuttered many infamous and historic gay businesses; which had made some more resilient and creative during these trouble times. The role my site plays has become even more crucial in reinvigorating gay nightlife and entertainment.

During my research, I discovered other parties and events that are not in nightclubs, bars or pubs but on cruise ships, ski resorts and campgrounds. Unfortunately, most don’t have a platform other than their own website or social network page to promote their events. Not mention gay social events like speed dating, comedy shows, walking tours and wine tasting that may not fit into most gay travel or event management sites.

Yeah, they may use ticket management sites like Ticketleap, Eventbrite or Seetickets; however they get swallowed up by the behemoth of hetero-centric events that have enormous marketing and advertising budgets to be placed more prominently on those sites. One problem with most event management sites are the category searches don’t necessarily provide the best results and often times leave you missing out on amazing events. Another problem is events that are catered to your likely are simply omitted because they aren’t selling tickets and would require one to search each and every ticket management site for gay parties.

A large portion of bars and nightclubs depended on cover charges at the door…in cash. Cash bars and other events similar to it get overlooked because they don’t provide the necessary revenue for ticket management sites. We, here at GPT, want to change the way you find parties by doing the legwork for you and allowing you to peruse through our site for gay bars and events without having to do a million and one keyword searches every time you are looking to go out. Thus, this is why we include party listing pages by cities to allow you the ability to focus on one particular location and provide you a listing of special events and weekly parties that are happening.

For our gay businesses, we are a ticket management platform that allows you to submit your events whether or not they are weekly, monthly or annually. Our software allows you to set your ticket price and your customers will never be charged more than $10 for ticket processing fees or you can just promote free events with no ticket selling requirement. After your event is approved, you’ll have access to our ticket management app to check in your clients, track your sells and receive your payout in a timely manner. Your events will be shared on our social network platforms and other various groups to raise awareness for event while other companies who promote their services on their social network and not their client’s events.
